Ivan Turetsky opened his new exhibition in the Palazzo Branda Castiglioni Museum in Italy last week to considerable acclaim. Turetsky’s monumental canvasses are a testament to his love of Italian Futurism with their dynamics and movement though with his own, individual view.
The artist’s technique is, in itself, a thing of wonder, requiring a level of mastery on a par with the Renaissance Masters Turetsky so admires. His canvasses are labyrinths, a puzzle for the viewer whose job is to find their focus. Their complexity is incredible, requiring almost microscopic examination, setting an intellectual a game with the viewer.
The exhibition runs until 26 September 2021 and will continue in Switzerland at the Swiss Logistics Centre in Chiasso.
