“Oleksandr Bohomazov: A Creative Laboratory” opens at the National Art Museum of Lithuania

As part of the cultural diplomacy project, “Oleksandr Bohomazov: A Creative Laboratory”, an exhibition of this outstanding Ukrainian avant-garde artist has opened at the National Art Museum of Lithuania.

The exposition was organized under the patronage of the wife of the President of Ukraine Olena Zelenskaya and the First Lady of the Republic of Lithuania Diana Nausedene with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

“This exhibition of the famous Ukrainian avant-garde artist demonstrates the friendly cultural ties between Ukraine and Lithuania, as well as acquaints visitors with unique Ukrainian art. This is a discovery of a new name for the Lithuanian audiences,” said Olena Zelenskaya.

The exhibition was organised by the National Art Museum of Ukraine in partnership with the “Art Arsenal”. This is the second exhibition of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian cultural project “Cycle of International Exhibitions” National Museums of Lithuania and Ukraine”.

The show features 36 works by Bohomazov, five works come from the collection of the “Art Arsenal”.
